Title: Industrial Manager
Location: Plymouth, Michigan

Responsibilities:
The Industry Manager roles has the authority to give strong suggestions about future directions of the respective industry in terms of prospective business opportunities to management. Responsibility for developing industry contacts and development of relationships with potential customers throughout the U.S., Mexico, and Canada. Responsibilities also include, but are not limited to:
- Authority to give strong suggestions about future directions of the respective industry in terms of prospective business opportunities to management
- Ensure establishment of CLIENT as a recognized partner for development
- Ensure development of new applications
- Ensure availability of recent and relevant market information
- Ensure optimal position and act as strong representative of CLIENT within the industry and networking with the most essential stakeholders (TG, associations, HQ)
- Cooperate intensively with internal partners in sales, application, project management, headquarters and product management
- Initiate and coordinate sales push activities together with RSM and KAM, for example certain application for aluminum as new business opportunity
- Initiate marketing activities and participate at relevant conferences, exhibitions, road shows, workshops and presentations
- Connect with the relevant decision makers of the industry
- Act as competence center for industry specific requirements for applications
- Gather and distribute all market relevant information to industry management in the HQ, PPM, and sales teams
- Coordinate and develop strategic customer partnerships
- Define and work on action plans based on country strategy
- Cooperation with external partners and integrators
- Initiate marketing activities and participation at relevant conferences
- Development of new ideas how CLIENT products can be used and sold in North America
- Any additional responsibilities as deemed necessary by management
- Adhere to all company guidelines
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics or Business Management REQUIRED
- 5 years’ industrial experience in a combination of customer service, product management and/or project management.
- 5 years’ experience with materials or manufacturing processes PREFERRED Or combination of Education and Work Experience
- Experience in adjacent and complementary industries to apply such knowledge to the changing landscape in technology as it applies to manufacturing or materials processes is A PLUS
- Well organized, strong follow-up abilities and demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic fast-paced environment
- Microsoft Office; Word, Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
Travel
30 % - 40% both domestic and international travel to support customer projects
Must maintain Valid Driver’s License
Occasional overnights as needed
